Welcome to another Weekend Wrap Up! How was your week? Did you do anything exciting? I worked, but feel as though I got a lot accomplished  so I can go into the weekend feeling pretty good about how much I got done! I plan on spending time with family and also spending some time outside soaking up some Vitamin D. Spring fever has hit! Let’s get started. Here are some of the things you may have missed this last week.

First up, don’t forget to stop by and read my review of the new eBook “Broth: Elixir of Life” from Loving Our Guts! This is a great book, for both real food newbies and experienced cooks. Would also make a great gift, so don’t forget to stop by and enter. Details here.

This week, The Nourishing Gourmet, featured my recipe for Cinnamon Maple Vanilla Nut Crunch on her site! This gluten, grain, and dairy free recipe is SO good. I have to make sure I keep myself in check, otherwise, I’d be likely to eat the whole batch in one sitting! Grab the recipe here.

L.c. of acirema just released the new and improved formula for their Eye Pop Skin Revitalizing Lotion. I love this stuff and recommend it to everyone. As a matter of fact, I love all of L.c.’s products and they are pretty much the only skin care products that I use. Best of all, they are all-natural, non-toxic, and handmade by Lori, a clinical herbalist who knows her stuff! You can also save 5% on your first order with coupon code LUCKYDO5. Check out her Esty store here. You can read my reviews of her products here and here.

Have you ever checked out The Living Kitchen Podcast from Cooking Traditional Foods? If not, you should. The podcasts always feature great information on a wide range of health, wellness, and food-related topics. Recently, they focused on answering listener questions, so if you have questions, they probably have answers! Listen to the podcast here.

Are you zinc deficient? Even if you were, how would you know? Most people are deficient  as zinc is one of the nutrients that is critical for enzyme production in the body. This great post from Divine Health from the Inside Out shows how you can figure out if you’re deficient, and what you can do to fix the problem! Read it here.

I can’t wait to try this new recipe from Pickle Me Too! It sounds delicious and would be great for those times when I am craving Japanese food. From the looks of it, it’s a quick and easy meal to throw together for breakfasts or lunch. Grab the recipe here.

Who wants some Troll Bites? This cute recipe from Lisa’s Counter Culture is a variation on a crustless quiche that she developed for her daughter’s Harry Potter themed school potluck. They freeze well, so this would be a great recipe to make ahead for batch cooking. Grab the recipe here.

Are you interested in starting on the GAPS Diet? Feel overwhelmed and not sure where to start? GAPS Diet Journey has put together a great post on how to get started on GAPS using baby steps. She helps break it all down so hopefully it won’t seem so intimidating! Read the full post here.
