I wish you and yours the happiest 2012! I hope your year is filled with lots of wonderful things, including plenty of grass-fed butter, coconut oil, and Bad A** Bacteria!

As I sit here this morning, I realize that my timing is a bit off for my first post in my new cultured foods series. I was so excited to make my first post today with my lacto-fermented garlic recipe, however, seeing that I am going to start the actual ferment after I finish typing this post, then I suppose need to wait until next week for the first one! That way, I can share any weird and/or funky experience that I have during the fermentation process. Not that I expect to encounter any weird or funky issues, of course! 🙂

So, wish me luck! As soon as I post this, I’m heading to the kitchen to start fermenting! I have a fresh batch of whey that is ready to work some magic!

Also, in case you missed it, I will be speaking on the radio show The Fearless Housewives of Living Empowered tonight (Jan. 1st) at 9:00pm, MST. I really hope you can join us!

Stay tuned for lots of fun stuff in 2012! If you haven’t already, sign up for email updates so you never miss a new blog post! If you want to receive my monthly newsletter, then you can sign up for that as well.

Thank you for your continued readership and ongoing support! If you ever want to drop me a line with an idea, suggestion, or just to say hi, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

Happy New Year!
