Weekly Recipe Wrap Up – 01/29/11

Weekly Recipe Wrap Up Follow Me on Pinterest

Hi everyone! Can you believe another week has passed already? Sometimes, I feel like all I do is blink and another week is gone! I feel like I may be coming down with the crud that’s going around, so I am hoping to beat it over the weekend. I will not get sick, I will not get sick…

Did you find any new, delicious recipes this week? Feel free to share them in the comments below — I love hearing from my readers! Here are the recipes that I stumbled across that are now on my list to try.

Pao de Queijo, GF Brazilian Cheese Bread – How’s this for something different? The bread looks very tasty and pretty simple to make. It’s going on my list for sure!

Grapefruit Radicchio Salad Recipe – I find it very hard to eat enough vegetables during the winter, so I am always looking for some new ways to sneak them into my diet. Plus, the grapefruits are fantastic right now, so this is the perfect combination.

Atole - This is something new that I have never heard of, but leave it to one of my favorite bloggers, David Lebovitz, to present the recipe. Such a simple dish. The perfect warm and creamy treat!

Chia Pudding with Pecans, Raisins and Candied Ginger – I must be out of the loop, because I hadn’t even heard of Chia seeds until a couple weeks ago and now, within one week, I’ve seen several recipes using them. Apparently they are little superstars of nutrition and this pudding seems like a good way to start eating them. Have you tried them? Do they live up to their hype?

Indian Dal Nirvana (Dal Makhani) – Jaden Hair is such an inspiration to all women, including me. Plus, to top it all off, she was recently awarded the top spot in the hottest women in the food industry in 2011! Her recipes are always tasty and I was looking for some more Indian recipes and came across this one. It looks absolutely heavenly, and I’m thinking I might make a batch this weekend for lunches or dinners this upcoming week!

Hope you have a great rest of your weekend! Please, feel free to share your favorite recipes below!
