Welcome to another week of Fermentation Friday! Here are some of the fun ferments that were shared this week!

Melanie at Pickle Me Too has a recipe for a simple tasty treat, Fermented Sweet Orange Ginger Carrots. If you have a picky eater in your house, you might be able to tempt them with this yummy ferment. I personally think this sounds amazing and can’t wait to try it!

Lisa from Lisa’s Counter Culture has a new book out! The book features “Pickles and Other Well Bred Foods“. Love that tagline! All of the recipes in her book are gluten friendly and paleo friendly. The recipes are probiotic, which can help heal your gut. Even if you don’t need any gut healing, probiotics are still important. Stay tuned, as I plan to do a review of Lisa’s new book sometime in the near future! 🙂

Jennifer from Hybrid Rasta Mama just published a great new post on mold and ferments. Mold is something that we have all had to deal with at some point or another. We used to think that it was OK to just scrape off the mold and carry on, but Jennifer tells us why that is definitely not a good idea.

I am sharing my recipe for lactofermented garlic. When I first started making my own ferments, this was one of the first things I made. The garlic is amazing! It truly gets better with age. The brine is absolutely wonderful in salad dressings.

Come back next week to see what goodies we can find around the Web! Tell me what your favorite ferment is. Leave a comment below!
