Essential oils are all the rage right now and for good reason. With rising health care costs and more and more information coming out about the dangers of mainstream medical procedures and prescription drugs, it’s no wonder we’re all looking for something better.
And there are LOTS of things out there that don’t carry the huge risks that Western medicine does. Essential oils are one of those things.
Don’t get me wrong — I am not anti-Western medicine. I think our medical system does serve an important purpose for catastrophic events.
For example, one of my dearest friends was rushed into emergency surgery last weekend when her appendix nearly ruptured. Completely out of the blue and the doctors said she was very close to rupture. If she had not gotten the medical attention and surgery she did, well, things could have ended very badly. But, she received the care she needed and is safe. Whew!!!! <3
That’s scary stuff and for these types of situations, I am grateful to have access to a medical system who can help.
But our medical system is not HEALTH CARE, it’s SICK CARE. It comes in handy when we have something catastrophic, but it fails in creating long-term health and vitality.
That’s why we must become empowered and armed with our own knowledge to keep our families healthy and safe.
Essential oils have started playing a much larger role in my health journey than I ever expected. Essential oils are not a cure-all, but they are a very important tool to keep in our wellness tool-box and can often produce incredible healing results when used properly.
