I wasn’t at all surprised to see that over 70% of people polled reported that they do enjoy raw cookie dough and aren’t afraid to eat it.
Now, I am one who always eats raw cookie dough when I’m making cookies. I don’t eat a ton of it, but I’m not averse to scraping a bit off the side of the bowl or licking the beaters. And I’m still alive and kicking. I have not once gotten sick from raw cookie dough. Just FYI.
That said, I am not going to sit down and eat a massive bowl of it and sometimes you want all the flavor of cookie dough without actually having to bake the cookies. That’s where today’s chocolate chip cookie dough dip comes into play.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
You may remember a while back when I shared my recipe for Chewy Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies. I had been doing a site audit that Fall and was taking stock of all the recipes I currently had to see what was missing. Lo and behold, chocolate chip cookies were missing! Not sure how that happened.
You know those days where you want cookie dough but don’t want to bake cookies? Well, this chocolate chip cookie dough dip is the perfect solution. Not only does it soothe the craving for cookie dough, but it also makes a pretty tasty dip for a party or picnic too. You don’t have to worry about anyone getting sick, because there are ZERO eggs in this one.

You can eat this chocolate chip cookie dough dip by the spoonful, or you can actually use it as a dip for other tasty things. Think apple slices, graham crackers, pretzels, nuts, or whatever your favorite crunchy snack is. You could also use this recipe as an add-in to your favorite vanilla ice cream recipe and have cookie dough ice cream!

Normally, this is where I would entertain you with some history about today’s chocolate chip cookie dough dip recipe, but I already covered that way back in my original Chewy Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie post. So, what do you say we skip all that stuff and just dive right on into the recipe?
- Place your butter, sweetener, vanilla, and milk in a small bowl and mix until the butter is fluffy and the sweetener is combined.
- Add your salt, almond flour, and collagen powder and mix until well-combined.
- Fold in your chocolate chips until they are fully incorporated.
- Voila! Time to eat!
- Enjoy this dip as-is, or dip things like apple slices, nuts, crackers, cookies, pretzels, or whatever else tickles your fancy into it.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
