The average lifespan of someone with an autoimmune disease is 10 years shorter than a healthy person.

I don’t know about you, but this is really scary, especially since I myself am dealing with autoimmune illness. And almost every day I meet someone new who is also suffering from one or more AI illnesses.

But, as disheartening as dealing with chronic illness can be from time to time, there is a lot we can do. We can learn strategies for more effective management of our chronic conditions that can help us live better lives here and now. And, healing and remission is totally possible with the right tactics and a great support team of practitioners and loved ones.
