The very foundation of this site is food — real food to be specific.

Food that does not come in fancy packaging and food that does not contain anything artificial.

I like to know what my food is, where it comes from, and what is in it. That is because only REAL food can heal the body.

That is the foundation of my food mantra: Real food heals.

Recently, I was honored to be interviewed by Beverly Meyer, author of the On Diet and Health website. She has a very popular podcast and features some amazing people — everyone from bloggers to holistic health care practitioners to real food gurus.

I was so honored with Beverly asked me to come on the show (and a bit nervous too). I had a blast chatting with her. The hour zoomed by and before I knew it, I had talked about everything from my Hashimoto’s disease to coconut oil to kitchen disasters and blogging faux pas. It was A LOT of fun!

I’d love if you’d check it out! For those who like to read, Beverly wrote up a great summary about the episode that you can read in its entirety here.

For those who love to listen, you can tune into the podcast here.

Or, maybe you want to do both! That would rad too!

Thanks for listening!
