Traditional Tuesday’s Nutritious and Delicious Blog Carnival is for anything involving traditional foods. Recipes, techniques, tips, discussions on the hows and whys we do what we do, kitchen organization, appliances used, fitting traditional foods into your life and schedule, anything under the banner of traditional foods is wonderful. Posts, Facebook pages or websites on the politics of real foods and action alerts for individual states or topics are also welcome.

This blog carnival is hosted by:

This week, I picked my three favorite links from last week’s round up. As usual, it was a tough decision, considering we get so many awesome posts each week!

First up, I picked Faux Pho from Easy Natural Food. I love, love, love pho and always consider it a treat to go out to dinner for a big bowl of it. I’ve never tried making it at home, but now that hubby and I are on a super strict budget that allows no room for the regular bowl of pho, I’m in need of an at-home option. So glad I’ve got one now!

Next up, I really liked the post about Chlorella from the Gaia Health Blog. I just recently started to do some research on chlorella, so this was perfect timing for me. It has so many health benefits that I’m will be adding it to my diet. I like that Doug mentioned some brands that he liked. I always prefer to get personal recommendations.

Last (but certainly not least!) I loved the post on 13 Ways to Create a Sustainable Food System from Small Footprint Family. This is something that I am really passionate about and this article was well-thought out and informative. It’s a bit of a long read, but worth the time to read it.
