Another week has passed and more great recipes have popped up from fellow real food bloggers. Check out this week’s selections and I hope everyone has a happy, healthy weekend!

Homemade Quinoa Pasta – I love quinoa pasta, though I have never attempted making my own. The brand that I buy at my local Vitamin Cottage is called Ancient Quinoa Harvest. Of all the gluten-free pastas that I have tried, this is BY FAR the best. It holds up to cooking and chunky sauces just as well as normal wheat pasta, plus it tastes delicious. But, now that I see how easy it is to make at home, I think I’ll go that route!

Artichoke Spinach Cheese Dip – This recipe is so simple and delicious. It’s perfect for a last minute get-together with friends or a quick healthy snack for your family. The dips you buy at the store are full of all sorts of bad things, but this is easy to prepare with only 5 ingredients!

Creamy Cranberry Dressing – This is a perfect addition to fall salads. Tons of flavor from the cranberries and juice, coupled with the thyme and mustard make this a tangy and delicious accompaniment to almost any kind of salad. The key here is the freshly squeezed juice (I recommend the little Black and Decker juicer. It makes fresh squeezed juice a cinch).

Homemade Bath Salts – I’ve made my own body scrub, which I use on a regular basis, but I’ve never made bath salts. Who can resist some fabulous bath salts and a nice hot bath on a cold winter evening? My muscles are sore from exercising this week (I think I need better shoes), so a soak in Epsom salts sounds delightful!

Banana Fig Smoothie – I just stumbled across this recipe and am really excited since I have everything on hand that I need to make it. The coconut milk and fig will give it a rich depth of flavor that is sure to be refreshing and satisfying.
