Let me just say a big thanks to all of my readers and a big thanks to all of the real food bloggers that I follow. You are all a great inspiration to me and I love what I do. Please continue sending me feedback like you have been. I love hearing from you and learning more about your real food journeys.
This is the first in a weekly series I’ll be doing – the Weekly Recipe Wrap Up. There are SO many fantastic recipes out there that I come across every week and I want to make sure that my readers are exposed to them as well. There’s only so many I can post of Facebook and with my hectic schedule, I am unable to post my own new recipes as often as I would like!
Weekly Recipe Wrap Up – 10/30/10
Simple Cheese Quiche – 3 Ingredients. This recipe looks HEAVENLY! I can’t wait to try it. Such a simple, wholesome, and satisfying breakfast, lunch or dinner.
No-Churn Ice Cream: Honey Cinnamon. I don’t have an ice cream maker and even though it’s on my list of things I want, it’s never going to be something I need. But, thanks to the Food Renegade, I never have to worry about that again!
Cottage Pie with Mashed Yams. This reminds me of something my mom would make. Comforting and hearty.
My Hero, the Gyro. Gyros are something that I LOVE, but just don’t eat that often. Mostly because I have yet to find an outstanding Greek restaurant in Denver. I’ve found some OK ones, but nothing fantastic! Now, I’ll just make them at home!
Carrot French Fries. I have to say, I have a roasted carrot recipe (coming soon), but I have never considered making carrot french fries! (note: I would switch out the olive oil for coconut oil since olive oil should never be heated).
Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Jessica,
Thanks for linking to my recipe – would love your feedback when you try the quiche.
I like your recipe wrap- up post. This will be helpful when I don’t have time to catch up on my favorite sites to see what everyone else has been making.
Hi Lisa! Thanks for the comment. I am excited to start doing the weekly wrap ups. They’re going to help me stay organized and not miss the great recipes I stumble across each week. So many wonderful recipes from the bloggers I follow and just not enough time to fix them all! I’ll be sure to let you know my thoughts on the quiche when I make it, though, I am pretty sure it will be nothing but compliments. I mean, it doesn’t get any better than eggs, cream and cheese, right?! 🙂
I found some pretty tasty greek recipes here , if you want to take a look.
Thanks Krystle – I love Greek food, so I will make sure to take a look at that site! Thanks for sharing!
