But, coming from a background where very little, if any, sugar was permitted growing up, I know that consuming a lot of sugar is not good for you. It’s a battle that I have struggled with all of my life so far, but I think that I am finally getting the message. A lot of this information I already knew from my nutritional research over the years, but it never hurts to take a refresher course.
One thing that I have had to get a handle on over the years is remembering to keep treats as treats. Americans consume horrific amounts of sugar each year and sugar can be attributed to many of our prominent health problems.
