In Part 1 of this series, I shared a bunch of home remedies that readers of Delicious Obsessions had shared.

First and foremost, we HAVE to support our gut, digestion, and adrenal health during cold and flu season. Our immune system resides in our gut, so if the gut is unhealthy, we will be unhealthy. Getting our gut health built up is the #1 key to staying well any time of year, as well as avoiding chronic illness as well. Here are a few posts to get you started.

Herbs and Herbal Remedies

Instead of running to the drug store when the cold or flu hits, take a look at all the natural remedies that we have access to. There are so many different immune-boosting herbs and using them in your own home is not complicated.

My advice would be to go through this list and get your herbal first aid kit prepared now, before the germs hit. That way you’re prepared should you or anyone in your family get sick.

You may notice that there are a lot of duplicates below. They are not truly duplicates, as each individual wellness advocate has their own personal spin on how they prepare certain remedies. So, find one that resonates with you and run with it!
