Well, I guess it’s a little about me, but the reason I’m writing this post is because of you! 🙂

I’ve been blogging now for almost two years. It has been such a fantastic experience so far and I am really excited to continue on my journey. This blog has opened up my mind to so many new ideas and ways of thinking, all of which I am extremely grateful for. Every day, I come across something that challenges, inspires, or motivates me (or all three!). Thank you for that!

In addition, I have also made many new friendships that would have never been possible if I had not started this blog. I have new friends around the globe and I feel like we have built a community of shared ideas and beliefs that will change the world. The real food movement is gaining momentum and we are starting to see more public awareness brought to the issues this nation (and the world) are facing regarding food and health. As this awareness continues to snowball, more and more people will join forces in a crusade for safe, whole foods that don’t leave us, and future generations, sick with preventable diseases. Thank you for that! Each and every one of you is playing a role in this movement and they are all important roles.

Thanks to KerryAnn of Cooking Traditional Foods, I was fortunate to become one of the founding members of the Nourished Living Network when she created it, and that network has been a blessing. Not only has it helped me reach a wider audience with my blog, it has given me a network of incredibly smart, strong, and kind women who always offer help and advice when needed. The network started in the spring of 2011 with just a handful of members and now we have grown to more than 20 members. Thank you, KerryAnn, for reaching out to me last spring and inviting me to be part of your vision.

Burton is tired of listening to me babble on and on about grass-fed butter that he doesn't get to taste...

But, when I step back from all of that, I realize that my success comes down to you, my readers. Without you reading my blog and leaving comments and asking questions, then I’d just be out there wandering around and talking to, well, no one. Actually, my husband and dogs listen to me, but after awhile, they get bored and walk off or fall asleep. 😉

So, I wanted to take a moment to thank you, as well as a moment to ask you some important questions:

  • What do you want me to write about?
  • What questions do you have?
  • What kinds of recipes do you need/want?
  • What can I do to make this website more of a resource for you and your family?

While I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to get to everyone’s suggestions, I will do my very best, even if it takes me months.

So, let’s get the discussion started. Leave me a comment below and tell me what YOU want from Delicious Obsessions. If you want to email me instead, that is perfectly fine too. You can email me here. I look forward to hearing from you!
