Weekly Recipe Wrap Up – The “I’ve Been a Slacker Edition”

Follow Me on Pinterest

So, I just realized that I seem to have completely forgotten about my Weekly Recipe Wrap Ups! I don’t know what happened – I just seemed to forget that I was doing them! But, we’re back and this week’s is great! As usual, there are TONS of wonderful recipes out there! So, let’s get started!

Weekly Recipe Wrap Up – The “I’ve Been a Slacker Edition”

Raw Honey-Almond Butter Truffles – These look wonderful and pretty healthy as far as truffles go! I’m making some of these for Mother’s Day (wonder if Mom will read this before Sunday?). They’ll be a wonderful addition to the goody basket I’m making!

Homemade Rhubarb Soda – It’s not just for pie! It’s for soda too! I’m so intrigued by this recipe that I can’t wait to get my hands on some rhubarb so I can make some.

Lacto-Fermented Thousand Island Dressing – Burgers and 1,000 Island? Yes, please! Time to whip up some ketchup and mayo!

Avocado Chocolate Pudding – Have I posted this before? I can’t remember, but I just stumbled across it again and since I have some ripe avocados waiting for me, I might just make this soon!

Frozen Banana Bites – Hmmm. I’m seeing a trend here. Lots of treat recipes. I must be hungry for my splurge day, which is coming up on Sunday. And if I’m going to splurge, why not make it something simple, delicious, and healthy?

DIY Crème Fraîche – Can you say YUM? And so simple! Yesterday, I noticed a little carton of crème fraîche from my local deli cost $6.99. Ouch! Who can afford that? Not me, but I don’t need to now. I can make it at home for a fraction of the cost!

Make Your Own Bubbies Pickles – This blog is a recent discovery of mine. Lots of great recipes and great information. And who doesn’t love Bubbies? Their sauerkraut is what I measure all sauerkraut against!

Amy’s Gluten-Free Lemon Coconut Bars – Might as well close with a tasty treat, considering I started with a truffle recipe. These look delicious. Enough said.

That’s it for this week. I promise to be better about these moving forward! My bookmark list keeps growing, so I need to start sharing!

I’d love to hear about your favorite recipe discovery this week – leave me a comment and tell me about it!
