Weekly Recipe Wrap Up

Hi everyone! How did you week treat you? I hope it went well. All in all, we had a great week. My husband started a new job that he loves and I had a very productive week at work and at home! Did you come across any delicious recipes this week? As usual, I came across many more than is feasible to try and my browser’s bookmark list continues to grow. Here are some of my favorites from this week!

Chickem Tikka Masala (or this one) – I have been on a MAJOR chicken tikka masala kick recently. I just can’t get enough of it and it makes me want to learn how to cook it myself. Eating at my favorite Indian restaurant everyday is just not cost-effective! 🙂

Chimichurri – I love chimichurri sauce. It tastes great on any kind of meat (in my opinion), whether it be steak, chicken or fish. All those fresh herbs – so flavorful and fragrant. I can’t wait to try this in the summer when I have fresh ingredients from my garden!

Homemade Fried Cheese Sticks – I just recently had a craving for some fried cheese, so I am going to be getting the stuff to make these. How simple and delicious. Actually, now that I review the ingredients, the only thing I need to buy are the cheese sticks!

Corn, Chicken and Sweet Potato Chowder – It’s been awhile since I have made a hearty chowder, so this soup souds wonderful. I love the addition of sweet potatoes rather than regular potatoes.

Raw Gluten Free Cheesecake – Looking for a sweet treat that won’t totally throw you off course? Well, I think this recipe is sure to hit the spot.

Preserved Lemon Recipe – I just stumbled across this recipe and I can’t wait to try it. As a matter of fact, I have lemons on my grocery list and I am thinking I’ll give them a try. I’m going to try Meyer lemons because my love affair with the fruit is growing by the day.

Roman Egg-drop Soup – Stracciatella – This is reminiscent of Chinese egg drop soup and I love egg drop soup. I have only made it a couple times in my life, but I am definitely going to make a batch of this. How wonderful and simple this recipe is!
